Bringing together the breadth and depth of complementary expertise of the Victorian Regional Food Relief Organisations; and facilitating and implementing a managed and co-operative approach by the Regional Food Relief Organisations to food purchasing and logistics, large scale food donations, fundraising activities, research, development, training, education, and advocacy.

Warrnambool & District Food Share Inc is a free service and is run as a not-for-profit entity. We rely on the goodwill and contribution of the regional community we serve.

Established in 2013 and designated as a Regional Food Hub in 2020 we are a founding member of the Regional Food Security Alliance in partnership with Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo and Shepparton Food Shares, Geelong Food Relief Centre and SMECC, collectively addressing food insecurity which affects regional Victorians (5.3%) disproportionately to metro (3%) *2014 data

We are supported by Fare Share, Red Cross, Foodbank Victoria, our local supermarkets and businesses, corporates, and wider community donations. In addition, philanthropic trusts, municipal councils, schools, churches, and community organisations all actively support us.

Staffed primarily by volunteers, we provide much needed food assistance to those in need via our 129 + registered agencies. Since 2013 we have steadily grown and expanded to provide our service to regional agencies in Camperdown, Hamilton, Heywood, Portland, and Terang who service their local communities.
