FOOD SHARE WEEK
We run Food Share Week every year in the third week of August.
This is our fourth Food Share week and this year it will run from Monday the thirteeth of August and finish on Friday the 17th
As Warrnambool and District Food Share launches its biggest annual appeal, it is calling on both sides of politics to help secure its future.
Food Share executive officer Dedy Friebe said with an election looming the time was right to push the case for funding.
EResources chief Steve Cope has been a long supporter of FoodShare. We have received a donation of $1200 from E Resources for a recent promotion dedicating $100 to us for every Photo Copier sold. A tremendous vote of support from one of our most innovative local Tech companies.
The Mortlake based Caravan Eggs farm has been amazing!!!
Jill Warner and hubby have regularly trekked in to our warehouse each week with an amazing 60-70 dozen eggs for our hampers - wow!!.
Eggs are so versatile and like gold!!
Great to receive a $1000 donation this week from our good friends at the Hamilton Uniting Church. Each month we send around 1.5 tonnes of food to them for their relief work in and around the Hamilton District.
